A Beautiful Summer View from Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital ☀️💚
These photographs were taken by me, Belfast Jack, in September 2018, from the eighth-floor Head and Neck Ward at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
Looking out over the Falls Road, the familiar rooftops and busy streets stretched towards beautiful Black Mountain, bathed in sunshine beneath a lovely blue sky.
Even during a difficult time, there was something comforting about this view. Belfast was carrying on below — people going about their day, buses passing, and that wonderful mountain watching over it all.
Sometimes a hospital window gives you more than a view. It gives you a quiet moment to appreciate the beauty of home. ❤️
