“Being the other: political correctness, intersectionality and the voices of the other” was the keynote speech by Dr Dwight Turner which opened CPCAB and BACP’s joint diversity symposium on 10th May 2019.
The overarching theme of the symposium was to look at our own diversity in order to be fully present and open to the diversity of the other; to explore what prevents us from fully entering and experiencing the client’s world.
