Will being a Conservative Republican get you to heaven? Can Republicans go to Hell as well?
Many Republicans and Conservatives on the "Christian Right" believe that their Christian ethics are eternally beneficial. Let's be clear; a great many Republicans will go to hell apart from Christ. If you are more politically minded than you are Biblically-minded, your ethics will profit you nothing.
Righteousness will produce conservative values, but conservative values cannot and will not produce righteousness. If you are not clothed in the righteousness of Christ on judgment day, neither the constitution, nor the second amendment, nor your conservative values will help you at all, but you will perish for eternity. Beware of mere political mindedness and seek Christ while He may be found.
