Here is a pirate influenced theme for Beidou. I tried combining some electronic instruments with the more orchestral aspects. I hope you like it! :)
Here's some criticism/analysis I could give for this piece: it's more of a stand-alone piece than a soundtrack piece because there's so much happening. I have a dream of one day composing music to a soundtrack and one thing I've noticed is that if songs are this stuffed with information, then it starts to detract from the game itself. Game music is supposed to support, not steal, the player's experience - usually, at least. The melodic ideas in this piece are pretty nice and the drama moves from one section to another decently. There's room for improving my two weakest areas: arranging and mixing. The sound is a bit muddy and unbalanced at times. Overall, I'm still happy with this piece. I think it shows solid general skills in making music that can be used to make good OSTs one day.
My takeaway for future improvement is: keep things simple and try to think of aspects of mixing before you reach that stage. I wanted to share this thought process in case anyone else is interested :D

![Waiting For The Rain [VOCALS] - original song
Here is a somber piece about feeling lonely. Christmas is generally the time to be close to ones family and for many it is the least lonely day of the year. But that just makes me wonder how Christmas feels to those who are not able to be close to others on this day, knowing well what they are missing out on. I hope your holidays will go well and you will get to be close to your loved ones. All the best!
Once again, the vocals are provided by the ever-talented Alla. It is always a pleasure working with her! Seeing her commitment to singing is impressive. This song is an extra holiday piece for everyone to enjoy. Theres a new palace theme for Adachi coming on Saturday. It will be on the more epic/battle oriented side of things again.
