In this video, I welcome my old friend Stefan Braatz, who is widely renown for being highly addicted to all those machines with a *0* in the middle. This made him produce a multitude of records and remixes all along through the world of 'traditional' house music between Berlin and Chicago. Back in the late nineties he established his emblematic imprint 'Adapter-Records' which soon became cult on vinyl. Nowadays, Stefan is releasing on labels like Pokerflat, Robsoul, Exploited, Kingstreet, Nite Grooves and SoulDeep and remixing and producing with artists like Tyree Cooper, Oliver Dollar, Lady B, Eric D. Clark, Merwyn Sanders from Chicagos’ Virgo Four amongst many others!
Stefan came along shortly after DHL delivered the RD. So he was the first to get hands on my new RD-9. He surprised us with his original Roland TB-303 he had in his bag.
The bassline is inspired by Bam Bam 'where‘s your child' from 1988.
