A 13-year-old made $63,000 rug pulling his own fans, but he wasn't the real scammer. See, a website for launching memecoins had just added livestreaming, and stunts like this were making them a lot of money. But livestreaming on the platform quickly became a race to the bottom, with users trying to outdo each other. As it spiralled from bad to worse, things got so awful that one employee decided to take matters into his own hands, by hacking the platform for millions of dollars because, as he said, "without a theatrical display, nobody ever really listens".
