Behind the Scenes of "White Noise 8 hours for Tinnitus Relief"
Vall de Nuria is a truly beautiful mountain resort in Catalonia (Spain) that attracts visitors year-round, whether it's for skiing in the winter or for leisurely activities in the summer. The resort features a lake formed by a dam, which releases water to create a soothing waterfall sound as well as a river, which I previously posted about. Visitors can cross from one side of the lake to the other either by using the bridge or by walking along the earthy part of the lake closer to the tourist area.
In the dam area where the waterfall is located, there's a pathway. To avoid distraction, I blurred that part in the video. This Behind the Scenes segment offers an aerial perspective before descending to the spot where I filmed the waterfall. It then shows the mobile phone recording, and finally, the unblurred footage I captured of the waterfall.
All this content is mine. Without access to the original files, I wouldn't be able to present the unblurred version, nor would I have mobile phone shots that sync perfectly with the time, clouds, and moments when the published video was filmed. I'm pointing this out because YouTube demonetized Acerting Art for "reused content," which is not accurate. I uploaded some Creative Commons videos over 10 years ago, which was entirely permissible at the time, and there was no warning to remove them or any indication that this was not allowed. Not even an email specifying which videos were causing the issue—just direct demonetization, resulting in two layoffs.
When I appealed the decision, it was rejected on the grounds that I do not appear in the videos and therefore they can't verify if I'm the actual owner. So, I'm uploading behind-the-scenes footage or any other indicators that can prove the videos are genuinely mine and not reused from anywhere else. No one else could have access to this unique Behind the Scenes content except the original video owner.
I hope YouTube realizes that Acerting Art's content is truly original, unique, and exclusive, and that they will re-monetize the channel.
