Behind the Scenes of "Virtual Beach 3D 360 VR - Relaxing Immersive Experience - VR Video"

This video was one of my first 3D 360 recordings, and I had to get creative since a 3D 360 camera was prohibitively expensive for me at the time. So, I bought two Samsung 360 (2016) cameras, mounted them side by side on a tripod with a small rail to mimic the distance between human eyes, and recorded everything using these two cameras.

In Adobe Premiere, I had to edit out the right side of the left camera's footage to avoid showing the other camera, and vice versa for the left side of the right camera. Additionally, I had to swap the backside footage because otherwise, upon turning around, the eyes would be "switched." Altogether, it took about seven layers just for the video part.

The quality isn't especially sharp as these were among the first affordable 360 cameras, but I did the best I could. To record, I had to walk up to the cameras to start recording manually because they didn't even have a timer. Then I had to move away so that I wouldn't be in the shot, but not too far since the cameras were eye-catching enough on a beach or in nature that someone might take them.

What I would usually do is stand among other beachgoers, or even farther back, keeping an eye on the camera. I made sure to walk over a patch of rocks initially so that I could later create a mask and overlay that patch of rocks to edit myself out of the final scene. Even though I was always there watching the camera, you don't see me in the final video.

In this Behind the Scenes video, I'm sharing moments when I walk away from the camera after hitting record or approach it to stop recording. It's abundantly clear that it's me, and my wife is with me as well. You can see me walk up to and interact with the camera.

I am the sole creator and owner of these videos, and they are exclusively published on Acerting Art, not licensed to anyone else. I'm making this clarification because YouTube has demonetized my channel, stating that they can't verify the content is mine since I don't appear in the videos. Well, here are the moments when I do appear. I believe this should serve as sufficient proof that the videos are mine. I appear in them as is.

I hope that YouTube recognizes the effort put in over 10 years of uploading content to Acerting Art and re-monetizes the channel.
