Exploring my applications of the information from my tarot card years The Chariot, The Hermit to Wheel to Justice to Hanged Man, from 2020 to 2025.
Chariot/2020: This was Covid. The beginning of this year I got a speeding ticket, slammed my finger in a car door. “Conversations” open March 13th and closed March 14. The same weekend hubby drove straight from Illinois to DC to get a kid.
Strength/2021: Navigating the various beasts in my world. Adult children back at home. Figuring out how to be strong without being hurtful.
Hermit/2022: Used the respite organically provided by Covid isolation, I began reevaluating my life and choices. Like so many of us, I think. I had the quiet to truly center in on what was feeding me, what wasn’t, what needed to be phased out.
Moved away from some long-standing identities. Shine my light into the darker corners of my psyche. Explored what were learned behaviors and what were core foundational Madelyn things.
Wheel/2023 began to implement changes. Wasn’t always smooth sailing. The world was really growing more chaotic so that was hanging on aspect. As I switched my focus, I did lose some things. Certain relationships. Applying lessons of Hermit to the greater world will instigate unexpected changes.
Justice/2024: I became more compassionate and understanding of myself. I worked to be analytical about how and what I choose to do. Got better balance, especially in my relationships with my adult children. I worked to just be a fairer, more understanding actor in my relationships. Accepting others for who they are. Accepting me for who I am. I tried to be clinical in how I made decisions. Gave intellect more weight, as I can be very much a gut gal. I tried to be a little less knee-jerk in my decisions.
Hanged Man/2025: Beginning impressions and interpretation. Letting others do their thing without my interference. Being still. Holding back. Letting other people walk their path without me not trying to help or fix or point. Removing myself has been generally a positive behavior for everyone. I hope. And returning to the channel.
