To address the intricate challenge of testing fuel cells in an aviation setting, we established a specialized hydrogen fuel cell lab in Kemble. This cutting-edge facility was developed by an expert team led by Mitch Hiscock, Head of PGS LTPEM Rig Test, along with Daniela Agachi, Senior Fuel Cell Engineer (featured in the video), Gareth, and other talented colleagues.
Testing fuel cells is a highly complex and technical process, but what makes our lab so unique is its capability to push fuel cells to their absolute limits. Here, we can run these cells at extremely high power outputs and simulate diverse conditions to ensure they perform optimally. As Gareth emphasizes, "We’re pushing the envelope with this technology as fast and as hard as we can."
