In April of 1996, filming for the movie Jingle All the Way started in and around the metro area of Minneapolis, MN where I happen to live. I was fortunate enough at the time to find several of the filming locations and brought my trusty camcorder along with. I haven't seen this footage in 14 years.
Some of the filming locations in Minnesota include: Minneapolis, Edina, Mall of America, and St Paul.
Trivia: normally in April, Minnesota still has at least some snow on the ground and the average temperature is in the 40's. Unexpectedly, at the time of filming, there was no snow and highs reached into the low 70's.
