Japanese family owned fish-based ramen shop in Shinjuku Tokyo. A look behind the counter and into the kitchen of this local family-owned Japanese restaurant, Menya Kaijin, the #1 fish based ramen shop in Shinjuku Tokyo, a highly competitive area in the ramen industry but this mom & pop shop has found to always appear in the top rankings with their beautiful umami infused clear soup. Luckily, the shop is located only a few minutes walk from the JR Shinjuku station South East exit. Endo san, the shop manager, gives us a tour of his ramen kitchen and shows us how he prepares his delicious fish ramen.
