Skydance's Behemoth on Meta Quest 3 - narrative-driven melee action with Shadow of the Colossus-scale boss fights.
Eighty minutes in, through the first titan: stamina-gated combat, climbing, grappling hook and proper Saints and Sinners DNA.
Pete Austin is eighty minutes into Skydance's Behemoth on Quest 3 and the Saints and Sinners pedigree shines through immediately. Melee combat is weightier than Blade and Sorcery but less physics-sandbox, gated by a clever stamina system that forces tactical pacing. Climbing, rope physics and the grappling hook all feel considered. Graphics hold up with varied environments, sound is excellent, and the first Shackle-Hide boss fight delivers a genuinely epic set piece. A little jank, but confident craft throughout. Of the 2024 big three VR titles, Pete suspects this might be his favourite - a strong opening.
