It's almost the first day of school and it can be a challenge to figure out some fun, engaging lessons that will help ease children into their new classroom. In this video, I share with you a simple yet fun read aloud idea (We Don’t Eat Our Classmates) that allow students to make connections and help them think about the different emotions the characters in this book felt on their first day of school.
