Clouds are one of the most challenging subjects for watercolor beginners — not because they’re complex, but because they require restraint, timing, and clear shapes.
In this second lesson of the beginner watercolor landscape series, I’ll paint a high-key, light-filled scene where the sky dominates the composition.

Plan a simple pencil drawing for clouds
