Join me today to see how I made this watercolour background card featuring a sweet little image from RAM Stamps called “Swinging Friends – Girls” (available here: rachelleannemiller.com/?ref=ll1e6ukqvy)

The coloured pencils I used were Arteza coloured pencils (from the 72 color expert tin) in the following shades:

Girl (left):
Dress – peony pink, fruit punch & fuchsia; pockets – fuchsia & plum purple
Tights – spring green
Shadows – smoke gray
Hair – honey, camel brown, burnt ochre
Skin – peaches and cream, apricot

Girl (right)
Top and boots – robin egg blue, Aegean blue
Shorts – flamingo pink & fuchsia
Hair – dark chocolate brown, cocoa brown & cinnamon
Skin – marmalade orange & burnt ochre
Flower – fruit punch & flamingo pink
Swing – sienna brown & cinnamon

I used Daler Rowney cold pressed watercolour paper for my background, and the Nuvo Shimmer powers I used were Atlantic Burst, Blue Blitz and Green Parade.

The sentiment is from a MFT Stamps set called Pretty Princesses, stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink.
