Staff fighting has been trained for centuries and every #martialarts uses staffs also every army in #history did it, so did the Prussian military. This #hema drills combine different thrusts with the staff or Fechtstock with footworks and show that jumps were used to train for the battlefield.
If we think of self defense with staffs on the road, those techniques could be used to defend yourself if a ex soldiers has to use his walking stick.
