I enjoyed reading Dune a lot, but I had some problems with it. Frank Herbert's Dune is one of the most popular sci-fi works ever. As a Star Wars fan, I had to give this book a try. Dune explores a world where a spice drug is the most valuable resource in the universe. This universe has giant sand worms, awesome technology, and not a single computer in sight.
