Before bringing the fantastical world of Orion and the Dark to life, Hanna Kim's talent was showcased in her short film, Raccoon and the Light. Created while studying at CalArts, this playful tale of a raccoon’s nighttime adventure played on Fine Cut in 2018 and won a Student Academy Award later that year. Kim's talent for drawing dark spaces with comedic flair made her the perfect choice to storyboard Orion's exploration of a mysterious dark world in Netflix's Orion and the Dark. Fine Cut celebrates 25 seasons of student film, featuring some of today's top talent.
