Back in 2026, I had to go back and revisit one of the greatest football games ever made — Tecmo Super Bowl.
This game isn’t just nostalgia for me — this was one of the first video games I ever played as a kid. From the gameplay, the simplicity and the legendary dominance of Bo Jackson, Tecmo Super Bowl still do things that modern football games just don’t.
I’m loading it up, playing it in 2026, and honestly asking the real question: 👉 Is this STILL better than modern football games like Madden NFL 26?
What makes it even crazier is Tecmo Super Bowl is still alive — with online leagues and tournaments running to this day. I’m seriously considering jumping into some competitive play and bringing that journey to the channel.
