The OctaHive is a super high gain fuzz with a well pronounced high pitch octave.
The octave mode can be turned on/off by the side toggle switch giving you a huge tonal range.
On the octave mode, things can get really nasty, splashy and gated. It's great for high gain leads, specially when played above the 12th fret. With a little less Honey you can get that "purple haze" tone. At low gain settings it can produce "ring modulator" overtones, great for textures.
The best way to achieve a well pronounced octave, is rolling back the Pre and tone control of your instrument.
The balance between the Pre and Honey is the key to achieve a variety of different sounds.
With the octave off it's a whole different pedal, producing a warm and thicker fuzz tone, making it more versatile and "chord friendly".
The OctaHive was based on the 1970's Tycobrahe Octavia and it can produce classic and modern sounds. A great addition to every pedal board.

![Orion Effekte - Schwarzweiß
Anyone can do white, and black even more. But true art is created when black meets white. When parallel worlds like these collide and when something greater than the mere sum of both sides is created from nothing.
Black [SCHWARZ] stands for overdrive – the best Orion Effekte ever made?
White [WEISS] stands for (treble)booster, a pedal that Orion had never built before.
Black houses the actual overdrive circuit. „PEGEL“ controls the volume, „KLANG“ the tone as usual, „VERZERRUNG“ the amount of distortion and „SÄTTIGUNG“ influences the sound in various, mostly very subtle ways, but can produce oscillations in extreme settings.
White comes with two controls – „PEGEL“ for the volume and „FILTER“ for damping the bass part, e.g. to achieve a TrebleBooster effect.
Redefine your own grey zone with the Orion black and white [Schwarzweiss] effects! And notice that in the tension between black and white a new, sometimes oscillating, iridescent and in any case fascinating new overdrive world is waiting for you.
