Every year I put up a little box for a pair of screech owls that come into my yard. This time I didn’t have time to actually remove the box and it was quickly overtaken with a colony of bees. I’ve been watching the colony for a while and I wasn’t too sure what to do about it but then the bees just abruptly left. So I ventured up my ladder and pulled the box down and this is what was inside.
