We caught up with David Colbourne, Teagasc Regional Manager at the #BEEF2026 Open Day to find out more about the Advisory, Education & Opportunities Village.

In the village, options for farmers to either earn an income on the farm or to provide an income for a second person within the household are catered for such as crafts, rural tourism, forestry and organics. Succession and inheritance, education and advice on TB are also covered.
