Dan mentioned Steven O'Reilly's site and book: romalocutaest.com
Also, John Salza and Robert Siscoe's trueorfalsepope.com
Dan explained that to canonically fulfill your Sunday obligation you must be present at Mass at least for the Offertory, Consecration and Communion, which is, at least pre-Vatican II, a common conclusion of canonists as far as legally fulfilling your obligation. In addition to that, Inestimabile Donum 1980 states: "“The two parts which in a sense go to make up the Mass, namely the Liturgy of the Word and the Eucharistic Liturgy, are so closely connected that they form but one single act of worship.”[Sacrosanctum Concilium, 56] A person should not approach the table of the Bread of the Lord without having first been at the table of His Word.[Dei Verbum, 21]".
So, in order to fulfill the spirit of the law as well as the letter in the matter of Sunday/Holy Day Mass attendance, we would still exhort every Catholic to do their utmost to be present for the entire liturgy, and receive the most benefit for their souls and do their best to fulfill this precept of the Church. :)
