ALIGNMENT AUGUST | GET OBSESSED WITH THINKING IT’LL ALL WORK OUT FOR YOU. ⚡️
What if being a little delusionally optimistic…
Is actually one of the most useful ways to move through life?
Not because everything will go according to plan.
Not because nothing painful will happen.
Not because the universe owes you a perfect ending.
But because believing:
“SOMEHOW, I’LL MAKE THIS WORK.”
Changes the version of you that walks into the chaos.
You can catastrophize.
Overthink.
Prepare for rejection.
Imagine every possible failure.
Rehearse humiliation.
Predict abandonment.
Call it “being realistic”…
And still be completely wrong.
So if your mind is going to manufacture a future anyway…
WHY NOT GIVE IT SOMETHING WORTH WALKING TOWARD?
That’s DELUSIONAL OPTIMISM. 🌀
Not:
“Nothing bad can happen to me.”
But:
“Whatever happens, I trust myself to turn it into something.”
The rejection becomes redirection.
The embarrassment becomes experience.
The failure becomes information.
The chaos becomes material.
The plot twist becomes part of the prophecy.
You stop asking:
“What if everything goes wrong?”
And start asking:
“What if even THIS somehow works in my favor?”
Because optimism changes behavior.
When you expect possibility, you notice openings.
When you believe something can work, you stay in the game longer.
When you identify with the person you’re becoming, you begin making decisions FROM that identity.
This is where it gets deliciously weird:
LARP YOUR WAY INTO PROPHECY.
Before reality gives you the role…
Start living inside the universe of the role.
I said:
“Oh, I’m a rapper now.”
Then I started performing on stages.
“Oh, I’m doing acting.”
Then came theatre roles.
“Oh, I’m coaching now.”
So I started treating tiny or free sessions with the seriousness of a high-ticket coach.
“Oh, I’m doing this channeling thing.”
Then the experiences became deeper and more vivid.
Identity came BEFORE evidence.
You don’t always wait for reality to hand you permission.
Sometimes you construct a living ritual around the future self.
Your environment.
Your clothing.
Your routines.
Your objects.
Your physical training.
Your meditation.
Your visualization.
Your work habits.
The places you spend your time.
The standards you hold yourself to.
You begin making TODAY look suspiciously like the life of the person you intend to become.
That doesn’t guarantee prophecy.
It does something more practical:
It makes you rehearse the identity capable of creating the outcome.
There’s a difference between fantasy and embodied optimism.
Fantasy says:
“I’m already successful, so I don’t need to do anything.”
Embodied optimism says:
“This is going to work out, so let me behave like someone preparing to receive it.”
DELUSION → IDENTITY → ACTION → EVIDENCE. ⚡️
Instead of:
Fear → hesitation → avoidance → no evidence → “See? I knew I couldn’t.”
Your optimism becomes a self-fulfilling behavioral loop.
You apply.
You publish.
You train.
You introduce yourself.
You take the meeting.
You make the video.
You try again.
You survive looking stupid.
And eventually reality starts finding it increasingly difficult to distinguish between the person you were pretending to become…
And the person you actually became.
That’s the paradox.
Sometimes you need evidence to believe.
And sometimes?
YOU NEED TO BELIEVE LONG ENOUGH TO CREATE THE EVIDENCE.
So yes.
Be realistic about consequences.
Be intelligent about risk.
Adjust when reality gives you information.
But stop worshipping pessimism as though expecting disaster makes you sophisticated.
You don’t need certainty.
You need enough faith to take the next step.
Let reality correct the details.
Keep the direction.
🌀 ASSUME → EMBODY → ACT → ADAPT.
Be delusional enough to envision it.
Disciplined enough to work for it.
Flexible enough to change course.
And grounded enough to know that even if Plan A explodes spectacularly…
YOU ARE STILL NOT DONE. ❤️🔥
