I’m taking a departure from art for a few minutes today. If you have a YouTube channel or are thinking of starting one, this video is for you!
I have been a subscriber to the Video Influencers channel for some time now. I get the notifications and sometimes I watch, and other times I just don’t. I get so busy making art videos that I sometimes forget that content is only part of what I need to pay attention to on my channel.
Today, I was notified that Sean and Benji (VideoInfluencers) uploaded a new video and it really caught my attention because I have been focusing a lot on growing my channel – gaining new subscribers and more watch time. It’s really not all that easy to do. If you have a fairly new channel, you know this! The video title is
--7 Core YouTube Growth Strategies to Start IMMEDIATELY | Video Marketing World Keynote
Yep, that got my attention. And because I know of them, and I trust them, I thought I’d be pretty foolish not to watch this one. Which I did, and I was so grateful for all the invaluable information these guys shared. They explained their theory of the 7 C’s of YouTube. Each component made me sit up and take notice.
So I thought I would give you a synopsis of what I learned and hit the key points that the guys made. BUT PLEASE -- go to their channel and watch the entire video. There is so much more explanation than I am giving here. I don’t think it fair of me to just spew out all of their research and ideas on my channel. Give them a watch and a like, and leave a comment! They are a wealth of information. And not just this video, but every single video on their channel. Look at their subscriber count!!
