If you’re a pharmacist prescriber, then you could volunteer as a Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP) and help train Scotland’s future pharmacist prescribers. From July 2025, the Pharmacy Foundation Training Year includes, for the first time, prescribing knowledge and experience, with trainee pharmacists supervised and assessed by DPPs.
