This February 15, 2026 The Rising Tide Foundation hosted a special cultural event in Baha Mexico featuring at the Performing Arts Center in Ensenada featuring The Tijuana Meraki Coro Choir and renowned soloist Mary Frances Lyans performing a repertoire of classical, African American spirituals, and folk music. Opening up the musical portion of the event, Matt Ehret and Cynthia Chung delivered short presentations about the importance of classical culture in all of its diverse manifestations across epochs and cultures.
