Pinus syluestriformis stands upright as an elegant woman, thus earning a fancy name -- beauty pine, which is a regional variation in the northern slope of Changbai Mountain, China. Unfortunately this habitat has been abused for long, and therefore the authority has demarcated this area as a reserve to protect this endangered tree species.
