Life is beautiful, yet strange or strange, yet beautiful. I can never tell which it is. So here's what happened with today's family vlog ok. When we left Oklahoma, I said to myself "I'm going to make a really beautiful vlog. Something that drops jaws and leaves them hanging." but the trip wasn't as easy as we expected. Right away things started to go wrong. The house alarm got set off when we entered our Air BnB rental, then shortly after we ran out of diapers. When we made it home, I had to edit our previous vlog from the abandoned highway. The next day, we were so busy at a conference we came to attend that we didn't get a chance to eat, so needless to say, we were beat. Sunday was no different but Grark was finally starting to feel better. Did I mention he was sick? Monday is when we finally got out. We drove to the Hoover Dam, walked across the giant bridge overlooking it, headed back to Las Vegas to check out the strip at dusk and took the kids back home before too late. Finally, the day went smoothly. Unlil 2:30 am rolled around. Chell got extremely sick and required a trip the the emergency room. Her throat sounded as if it was closing and we didn't know what it was. When we arrived, she was breathing ok but the doctor said she had a really bad reaction to a virus called croup. After a few minutes and some good medication, they sent us home and she slept ok through the night. The next morning, we jumped on a plane and headed back to home where we've since been taking care of our now 2 sick kids. So today's vlog didn't quite go as planned but one thing is for sure, the name of this vlog definitely stayed true to its name. I'm tired and maybe a little sick, I don't know but I had fun trying to make sense of this vlog even though it doesn't really.
