I love the stretch of the Chicago CTA Brown Line from Damen to the end of the line, Kimball. The Brown Line is mostly elevated, but there is a one mile section of at grade running with interesting street crossings.

This is one of the coolest trams in the world! The tram actually had a much longer route than it did 10 years ago. Today, it begins at Carioca, a 5 minute walk from the Metro station.
The Santa Teresa Tram in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is an extremely unique railway, which winds its way up a hill in an eclectic neighborhood. The tram begins at Carioca Station (Estação Carioca) in the Lapa neighborhood and ends at the top of the hill at Dois Irmãos.
