This video was sent to me by my good Youtube friend Chris who lives over in Bempton Bridlington east Yorkshire.
Chris tells us,
'We've had this delightful cactus along with some others for quite a few weeks now they were given to us from Jeff. This one has suddenly started sprouting these two shoots hence the flowers.
It's a Easter Lily Cactus, (Echinopsis oxygen or related Hybrids).
It flowers from the sides/ Lateral funnels of the spherical stems during the summer months stretching into August.
So roughly it's flowered in full for around 24 hours. It's such a shame it doesn't last longer.
We have six cacti all together and I'm taking them out of there individual pots and planting them in planting trays three in a tray this will give them more room to grow as there young cacti growing as well.
