On the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island in the city of Victoria, British Colombia, is Beacon Hill Park. The famous painter Emily Carr's house is nearby. It has lots of wildlife, ducks, geese, blue herons nesting in the grand old trees. It's spring and there are babies staying close to their Mothers. The flowers are exploding with colour. It's a joy to breathe the fresh air, relax and observe nature at its most exciting time of year. My companions are my Mom, brother and sister in law.
