This was a collaboration job @WillStelterbladesmith & Kevin Willey. Both Will and Kevin were looking to turn the spindles in their Beaudry No. 11 & No. 2 Power hammers and have new spindle bearings machined. Since Will had plans to come to Florida he decided to drive down and brought all the parts with him so we could work on them during his return leg of the trip. In this video we'll set up both of the spindles in the American Pacemaker lathe to get them turned true and straight. In Part 2 we'll machine both of the bronze bearings to match the new diameter of the spindles.
