16 POUNDS VS. 2 PEOPLE! 🍕 Beau Jo’s 14er Mountain Pie Challenge
​We headed to the Rockies to take on the legendary 14er Pizza Challenge at the world-famous Beau Jo’s Colorado Style Pizza! This isn't just a pizza; it’s a 16-pound beast that weighs as much as a bowling ball and is stacked with enough toppings to feed a small village.
​The rules are simple but brutal: Two people. One massive Mountain Pie. 60 minutes to clear every single crumb of that signature 3-inch thick braided crust.
​The Stats:
​Total Weight: Approx. 14–16.5 lbs
​Dough: 7 lbs of dense, honey-brushed Colorado crust
​Toppings: 7 lbs of hamburger, sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms
​The Stakes: If we finish in under an hour, Beau Jo’s donates $250 to a local food bank. If we crush it in under 30 minutes, they double it to $500! Usually its $150 for you and your teammate, but we forgo that to help feed those in need.
​Can we conquer the thickest crust in the West, or will the "Mountain Pie" send us packing? 🏔️🍕
