This weekend's HWJ weekend challenge is to create "Beats & Drones". I love the typical deep house drones, so I went for this style, gave it a bit uptempo and put Syntakt's chord machine combined with the FX track on this duty.

Syntakt adds several drum elements and a small arpeggio. Digitakt brings in the bassdrum, a vocal effect here and there and adds compression.

The star of the show is the @SONICWARE Liven Texture Lab; I am using it with a vocal sample of myself to add sonic layers to the track.
