a method to possibly beat the brawl oot demo. it requires pretty much all hesses but there is a little bit of leeway for multiple tries

NOTE: do NOT pause except in or before hyrule field. otherwise you will overwrite the title screen CS data and make the run impossible.

first we stop by goron city to allocate the fish overlay to a specific location in memory so it sets us up for current cutscene SRM. fortunately for us, the rest of the route doesn't touch where we put the fish, so the stale data stays in memory the entire time

next we perform grotto srm. the grotto srm takes us to an unused lost woods entrance that, when used for a wrong warp, lines up with lon lon ranch credits in memory.

we carry the title screen cutscene with us in memory all the way until we perform the current cutscene srm, void out in lost woods, and fortunately for us, land on solid ground in lon lon ranch (you can even see link in the background at the start lol). all requirements for this to work.

also do note the hess through the slingshot target room is required. if we're in the room for barely longer than the time it takes to hess through the room, the skull kids shoot needles that end up messing up the heap.
