GregTech: New Horizons is undoubtedly the hardest modpack in Minecraft, with lower estimates starting at 2,000 hours to reach the end goal of a Stargate.
Project Singularity is an SMP designed to make that even longer, by slowing down progression and focussing on the journey rather than the destination - building railways, shopping districts and other non-essentials. We are currently trapped in the Steam Age, and aren't allowed to use anything that requires a circuit to progress any further.
