Upgrading weapons in Beast of Reincarnation is more confusing than it needs to be, mostly because of the lock sitting on every weapon. This is the full walkthrough of how enhancement actually works, from your first campsite upgrade through to lifting the tier cap so you can keep levelling.
Covered here: the campsite enhancement menu, all three weapon types, what amber is and where it goes, why your weapon shows a lock with a number next to it, the trader and the workbench, and how generator devices in blue, yellow and green feed the abilities that raise your cap.
