Here's my four-legged portion of my animals project at university. I chose a black bear, my favourite animal....even though apparently they are one of the hardest to animate....no wonder I was tearing my hair out during this!
He's a little too fast for my liking, plus he limps a bit, but I think with a few tweaks here and there, it could be pretty good.
I really wish I hadn't drawn his legs coming up so high, but when I drew them following the flesh he just looked fat and I needed to do this to show the movement a little better. Shame really, I wish I'd had a couple more days to fix that.
Ally Gator Animator is a British animation graduate from the University of South Wales. I love animating, voice acting, reggae music and drinking ridiculous amounts of tea.
