Beachfront B-Roll: Free Stock Footage | Beachfront B-Roll: Sneakers on Power Lines (Free to Use HD Stock Video Footage) @Beachfrontbroll | Uploaded 11 years ago | Updated 4 hours ago
Visit my blog at: http://beachfrontprod.blogspot.com to download the 1920x1080 file in various formats (DNXHD, PhotoJPEG, H.264, WMV and WebM), as well as many more clips, free of charge and free to use.
I'm glad I had my camera on me while I was driving through the city the other day. I thought a shot like this might be useful to some visitors who use my footage for documentary purposes. The "shoes on a power line" shot is a nice way to depict both rural and urban area adolescent culture.
In doing some research for this post, I found out the practice of throwing tied shoes over power or telephone lines is referred to as "shoefiti". The explanation behind why shoes end up on these wires is varied based on region and culture.
This footage was shot on the Sony NEX-FS700
You are welcome to use them in your projects you are working on or keep them in your clip library for future work. The only thing you cannot do is turn around and offer them AS stock footage. Have fun with them!
