In this unique webinar, attendees heard from ocean safety experts, broadcasters and communicators who participated in hands-on activities including: surveying the beach, reading the water, studying the waves, navigating currents, entering and exiting the water and even rescuing themselves or helping others in trouble. Our experts and participants discussed how to interpret beach forecasts and conditions to avoid dangerous situations. The panel also shared insights into the physical and psychological challenges faced during such rescues and the importance of accurate and effective communication in beach safety.
