I am proud to present to you my first SoCal refuse video. Recently, I took a small vacation to SD and Vegas with my family. They were kind enough to give me a whole day to film with a fellow YouTuber Trashmonster26. After filming some EDCO and WM in East County we headed over to the Point Loma/Ocean Beach area where a large Monday ESD route sits. We drive around and find a Peterbilt on greens slamming! (Video will be out shortly) Then we waited for the famous mini Amrep MSL that Desmond filmed years ago but we had no luck there. So at this point we started to go to Ocean Beach to film a driver Andy knew that promised that he will bring a Pete. And sure enough, on the way there look at what we ran into! A Pak-Mor beach truck! Andy and I knew we HAD to film this so after Andy darted into traffic to talk to the driver he gave us the thumbs of approval to film him. He even did a demo of the arm cycle on the side of the road for us. After following him for 10-15 mins he finally went of the road and on to sand, we quickly followed him down the beach with no intention of losing him. After following him for well over 30 mins we decided to call it with this truck. We told the driver thanks and proceeded to go to another route where we found a super nice Autocar
driver (ESD). For those who are wondering, San Diego's Environmental Services Department does not own this vehicle. The Parks and Rec. department does. They actually own 3 but but two are broken down. If this breaks the driver says they send a crew with a RL (not clear if it's ESD or Parks and Rec.) to pick up all the barrels.
