On November 15th, 2025, Poznań will transform into the capital of HARD in Poland – thanks to many legendary artists, extraordinary artistic spectacles, and above all, thanks to YOU! These are just a few reasons why you MUST take part in our contest!
Currently, a new, golden generation of producers is just waiting to showcase themselves to a wider audience, and as an EVENT, we must support the young and talented. For this reason, we decided to give a chance in the contest to every producer who dares to create the ANTHEM – the theme of RISE FROM THE ASHES.
The rules for participating in our contest are very simple:
🖤 We are waiting for your entries until August 10th. Please send them to: info@eqmusic.eu
🖤 Productions MUST include all THREE vocal samples: male "Black Sugar", female whisper "Black Sugar", and male "Rise From The Ashes" – everything can be found at this link: drive.google.com/file/d/16eKZzlNUpehlknmP9UrQtYs8w3Y2GyU0/view?usp=drive_link
🖤 Collabs are more than welcome! If you want to create an entry as a duo – go for it!
🖤 We only accept productions with a minimum length of 4 minutes.
🖤 The genre of the entry MUST be Hardstyle (zaags, shiphorns – it's up to you what elements you use).
🖤The exported file MUST be in WAV format.
🖤 In addition to the anthem, send us a video of your 15-minute mix (e.g., upload it to your YouTube) and provide the link so we can assess your mixing skills.

BLACK SUGAR is more than just an event – it’s a community, a passion, and a pure love for hard sounds. It all began in 2020 with a dream of creating a unique space for fans of HARD music. We drew our inspiration from the world's biggest festivals, such as QLIMAX, DEFQON.1, and HARD BASS.
In 2022, we launched our live streams featuring the best Polish artists, showcasing the full spectrum of heavy sounds. A year later came the breakthrough- the first edition of BLACK SUGAR in Łódź proved that Poland is ready for world-class events. Today, we know exactly where we are headed. 2025 marks a new era for BLACK SUGAR - stronger, faster, and even more intense. The future? Together with you, we want to reach the hardstyle stars and become the premier event in Poland. Because at BLACK SUGAR, nothing is impossible!
