In June 2018, former IDF soldier Rebecca Rum woke up to find herself the target of a viral BDS libel campaign on Facebook, falsely accusing her of killing a young Gazan woman. The fake news was quickly translated to dozens of languages and shared numerous times, reaching more than 2M people worldwide. Within 48 hours, Rebecca and her family received hundreds of hate-filled messages and death threats, calling her a cold-blooded murderer, a Nazi, and in one case putting a $5M bounty on her head.
It is time for the truth!
Rebecca was never stationed at the Gaza border. Rebecca was not in active service at the time of the incident.
