Scientists and philosophers have pondered these questions for centuries, as they contemplated the possibility of parallel universes. The multiverse theory is not often discussed by cosmologists, due to its speculative and untestable nature. However, there are a myriad of different interpretations depicting how a multiverse might manifest, some of which we may be detectable within our own universe. So buckle up, because in this video we will be leaving the galaxy entirely, as we take on the biggest question of them all- the question of whether our universe is the only one.

Each of our neighbouring worlds bears scars which echo their violent past, from the many craters of the moon's battered surface, to the sideways rings of the planet Uranus. And in this video, we will examine a number of the most significant collisions, which each played a pivotal role in building up the Solar System as we know it today.
Last time out, we talked about the history of Earth, but with one key detail missing- the formation of the Moon. And so perhaps that would be a good place for us to start, as we revisit the many collisions of the early Solar System.

The result is a Thorne-Żytkow Object. First proposed in the 1970s, these are red giant stars in binary systems, which have absorbed their neutron star companion. When this happens, the giant star will usually remain intact for at least a few hundred years, so what happens during that time?

That imprint is our galaxy- the Milky Way. Our galaxy is a giant, which extends for hundreds of thousands of light years. But by measuring the motions and velocities of the stars in our neighbourhood, both their past and future trajectories can be extrapolated- revealing the history of the Milky Way.

CEERS-93316 #ShortsSEA2023-04-02 | Since it was switched on in 2022, the James Webb Telescope has been bringing the universe's farthest observable galaxies into view. But one of these, recorded in July, really made scientists raise an eyebrow- CEERS-93316, a tiny primordial galaxy with an estimated redshift z=16.4.

Over 26 years, this orbital vehicle embarked on 33 missions, spending close to a year above Earth's atmosphere, before it was retired in 2011 to coincide with the end of the Space Shuttle Programme.

These vehicles, which launched from right here in Cape Canaveral, were integral in developing the technology and practicing the manoeuvres necessary for the upcoming Apollo Programme, which some years later orbited the moon and landed astronauts on its surface.

Business Enquiries: SEA.Enquiries@gmail.comThe Dark Energy Mystery [4K]SEA2022-09-23 | In 1998, two teams of scientists measured the universe's rate of expansion, expecting to find the gravity of the Cosmic Web bringing the universe into a collapse. But instead, they found that the universe's expansion appears to be accelerating- having expanded more in the latter half of its life. Both teams agreed upon the existence of a new type of energy field, known as Dark Energy, to drive this acceleration, and in doing so, they revived one of Einstein's long-rebuked ideas- the Cosmological Constant.

Cosmological ConstantThe Dark Matter Mystery [4K]SEA2022-08-04 | Dark Matter is a theoretical form of invisible mass, which is believed to be present in galaxies, but has never been seen or detected. You've probably heard of it before, as it makes up a large part of the physics you find in textbooks. But how can something that's never been seen have so much scientific confidence? Furthermore, why can't we see dark matter to begin with? And if we can't see it, how do we know that it is really there? And if it's not there, what are the alternative ideas? These are the questions we will be aiming to answer, as we dive into the Dark Matter mystery.
