Big Picture mode is a valuable BCA Tracker transceiver feature that can be used to gain an overview of an avalanche rescue scenario and optimize the efficiency of your search. It can be used at the beginning of a scenario to assign rescuers to each displayed signal on a Tracker avalanche beacon. It is also valuable in situations involving more than two signals within range.

Multiple avalanche burials are rare and can usually be treated as a series of single burials, using normal Search mode. But they can become truly complex is:
• When it’s not possible to turn off the first victim’s transceiver,
• When the victims are in close proximity (≤10 m) to each other, or
• If there are three or more victims.
In these cases, it can be helpful to have advanced modes like the BCA Tracker4 or Tracker3 Big Picture (BP) Mode that help you ignore one signal so you can move on to the next one while other rescuers are shoveling.
