The dream collaboration of world-renowned snowboarder Shin Biyajima and Hisanori Katsuyama, who is a local legend at Minakami area where is Tanigawa-dake, has been come true. The location is Mt. Chokai, which rises in Akita and Yamagata prefectures in the northern part of the main island in Japan. Mid-march 2021 conditions were hard due to exposure facing the Sea of Japan; the riders transversed the mountain on both sides by snowmobiles and dropped in more than three times a day.
