Global News | BC hospital staff helps man marry his bride in ICU, days before his death @globalnews | Uploaded October 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 week ago.
The staff at Vancouver General Hospital turned an ICU ward into a wedding chapel for a couple in an act of kindness that left "not a dry eye" in the room.

Josh Morven, 30, battled through an autoimmune disease and later two double-lung transplants, which his body eventually rejected.

On Aug. 24, he was all smiles as he and his bride exchanged their vows.

Morven died six days later, on Aug. 30.

“We felt the care. We felt the love from everyone. It was beautiful. He was the happiest he’s been in his life,” his mom Carol Roberts told Global News.
