Alwa’s Awakening is an adventure game made for modern platforms but with the feel and look of a Nintendo 8-bit game. We’re inspired by old NES games such as Battle of Olympus and Solstice but also new games like Battle Kid and the Trine series. Do you like Retro RPG games? Passion is/will be a retro Japanese-style RPG for the PC. It is heavily influenced by old school RPGs from the 16-bit era of gaming, such as EarthBound, Final Fantasy, and Dragon Quest.
In the current climate, retro RPG games are marred by games where the game mechanics are simply curtains covering up the in-app purchase aspect of the game, or focus more on being gimmicky than on what we all used to play JRPGS for:
